Product Marketing Manager, Industrial Solutions

Location: Santa Clara (Picarro HQ) / Remote Job Term: Full-Time

The Opportunity

Picarro is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to own the go-to-market motion for our Industrial Solutions portfolio. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of deep technology and complex market dynamics — where great storytelling, sharp positioning, and rigorous customer understanding directly shape how Picarro grows.

You will lead messaging, positioning, launch execution, and sales enablement across Picarro's industrial applications — including fenceline monitoring for oil, gas, and chemical industries, workplace monitoring for occupational safety, and new business applications as they emerge. Responsibilities

Messaging & Positioning

Develop and own clear, differentiated messaging and positioning for Industrial Solutions products. Translate complex measurement science and regulatory context into value propositions that land with both technical and non-technical buyers.

Product Launches

Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new products and features — coordinating across product, sales, marketing, and field teams to ensure launches are on time, on message, and drive measurable pipeline.

Sales Enablement

Build and maintain the collateral, battle cards, competitive intelligence, and technical training materials the sales team needs to win. Partner closely with sales to understand where deals are won and lost, and close those gaps.

Customer & Market Research

Own buyer persona development, win/loss analysis, and ongoing voice-of-customer programs. Maintain a current view of the competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and emerging market trends to sharpen positioning and inform roadmap input.

Content & Campaigns

Develop content — white papers, case studies, webinars, conference presentations — that establishes Picarro as a trusted authority in industrial environmental and safety monitoring. Support demand generation campaigns with targeted messaging for key segments.

Industry Presence & Events

Serve as a key voice for Picarro at internal user conferences, industry events, and technical committees — developing messaging frameworks and presentations that reinforce Picarro's position as a market leader in industrial environmental and safety monitoring.

Cross-Functional Partnership

Work closely with product management to provide market feedback and align on roadmap priorities. Partner with field sales and applications teams to support key accounts and strategic opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.

4–7 years of product marketing experience, ideally in industrial technology, environmental solutions, scientific instrumentation, or a related B2B market.

Proven ability to develop compelling messaging and positioning for technical products.

Experience owning and executing product launches end-to-end.

Strong sales enablement skills with a proven ability to build materials that drive real sales impact.

Excellent written and verbal communication; able to write for both technical and executive audiences.

Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving environment with multiple priorities.

Willingness to travel approximately 20% for customer visits, trade shows, and industry events.

AI-forward mindset with hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate research, content, and campaign workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with EPA environmental regulations, OSHA occupational safety requirements, or industrial compliance frameworks.

Background in or exposure to chemical manufacturing, oil and gas, or environmental health and safety.

Experience marketing SaaS or data analytics products alongside hardware.

Exceptional writing skills with a portfolio of technical content — white papers, case studies, conference presentations, or campaign copy — that demonstrates ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.

Experience with or understanding of AI agents to automate and scale product marketing workflows — content generation, competitive monitoring, campaign personalization, or similar.

Experience presenting at industry conferences, user conferences, or technical committees.

Prior experience in a startup or high-growth technology company.
